Description
A choice M1940 Luftwaffe three tone Normandy camouflage combat helmet. Helmet is an « ET66 » with a lot number of « 74 ». Exterior features a nice thick sawdust camouflage application covering over 85% of the helmets surface. Nice combat wear present and still retaining contrasting camouflage in the classic three tones. The thick layer of camouflage had come off because of a wire that had been placed around the helmet, as shown by the marks it left behind. Interior is in matching condition and has received a nice tan spray around the liner. Paint transfer is present on the chinstrap and liner. Leather liner is in very nice condition and still retains a rare pig-skin leather chinstrap intact. A choice German Luftwaffe thick Normandy camouflage combat helmet.
