German M44 ankle boots
Description
Very nice and rare pair of M44 low ankle combat boots. Late war construction in dual tone natural brown leather. Properly and fully marked with all information including size « 27 1/2 », date « 45 » and « RBNr ». Boots are in unissued shape and show some but little wear with some minor scuffs and scraps. Overall in really nice condition and retaining a pair of issued laces. Stitching is tight and the boots have no issues. Heels and soles are all fully intact. Nicely and deeply marked by the maker « POLIKY RIEKER » a prolific maker at the time. Hobnails are all present and wooden pegs are complete. Iron hails are marked « 20 » on both sides. Pairs like this are becoming very difficult to find. Perfect size for a mannequin. A very desirable set!
