German radio operators grounding pole with case
Description
A German radio operator's grounding pole with leather carrying case. Pole is made from metal and would of been placed into the ground to provide grounding for the use of the radio equipment. Although encountered from time to time this particular example has never been used. It shows light storage wear and nicely maker marked and dated « 1942 ». The blackened leather case is complete and in excellent condition. Strap and stitching are nicely all intact and in excellent condition. The reverse is maker marked and dated faintly. A desirable piece of communications fieldgear.
