German rubber boots, dated 1940

Very nice matching pair of German rubber boots, made by the firm « TRETORN HAMBURG », integral rubber construction, nicely marked and dated « Gr.9.lV.40 », and also stamped in red ink with the Waffenamt. They are in excellent condition and still soft. Uncommon equipment piece that equipped all branches of the German army throughout the conflict.
