German signals « F » communications directional panel, « 1940 »
Description
A German communication « F » directional panel. Made from a red fabric with white « F » and directional arrow on each side. Lined along the top and bottom with nailed wood and leather closure flap, string ties have been replaced. Flap is maker marked and dated « 1940 ». The « F » would of denoted Funk or Radio Station. In overall good used condition. Would of been rolled up for easy access, storage and mobility purposes.
