Description
German six round signal flare container, brown bakelite construction, in excellent condition, the top lid has a printed paper contents label glued in place. The label features a red star with black script which includes, « 6 Sternsignalpatronen » (6 Signal flare rounds), « Rate 117 » (Installment 117), « Untersucht » (Examined), date « September 1941 », and the flare manufacturers code, « dag », indicating the flares were manufactured by Orion Metallwarenfabrik. The color of the star on the label indicates the flare color. Very nice clean example.
