A period German soldier's grave marker. Named to the former soldier « Willi Krüger » to include his unit « Soldat. 3. San. Ers. Batt.10 »along with the date of birth and when he was killed « 17-2-41 ». killed in Landrecies in France during the occupation of the country. The number « 255 » on the stake is to signify his location on the graveyard. Overall period wear with minor paint loss, age and crazing. Dimensions: 35x155cm. In full length with the centerpiece detached yet can be affixed easily but left in as-found condition. No research has been done at this point but worthy of further investigation. A piece that is the truly a reminder of the war.
