German tan MG34/42 tool box, « Werkzeugkasten »
Description
Late-war original factory painted tan and black stenciled hand applied along the side with the designation « Werkzeugkasten ». The ammo can is maker marked along the top and dated « 1944 ». The box retains over 85% of its tan factory finish and complete rubber gummi seal which is commonly missing. This is the harder to find variation.
