German unissued late war tan/water camouflage jump smock (Fallschirmjäger)
Description
German late-war Tan/Water Camouflage Jump Smock for Paratroopers (Fallschirmjäger) in unissued choice mint Condition. Manufactured in mid to late 1944. The original breast eagle is on a late type thin tan base material nicely zig-zag factory sewn. The buttons are blue-grey glass type with the back two flare pocket buttons being the late war metal dish variety. Snaps are all present and in excellent condition, marked « PRYM6 ». White plastic zippers are in excellent order retaining their pull tabs in black leather crudely sewn and manufactured by « Ri-Ri ». Smock is nicely marked, dated, and size (2A) stamped. The example has never been in a collection and a fresh offering to the public market. Choice example !
