A superb and very rare « WERSCHUTZ REITZ » belt and buckle factory protection member set. One of the most prolific factories in occupied Belgium. The belt and buckle set is the first we are aware of to retain its correct and matching belt. The buckle is in excellent condition retaining over 95% of its special silver wash finish. A very nice and unique buckle design. Only light wear along some of the high relief marks. The reverse features its correct thin metal retaining bar for the catch to be secure. The belt is complete and in excellent condition. Blackened leather special coated construction, complete and tightly stitched in black thread. Interior leather strap is complete and maker marked « sport ERTEL ». Matching and identical to the buckles finish is the belts catch. Size stamped 88cm. One of the rarest and highly desirable sets. A unique and special offering !
