Kriegsmarine EM/NCO overseas cap. A French produced example retaining all the typical maker characteristics « Chapellerie Parisienne ». Nice dark blue wool used in the body of the cap with no condition issues. Retains its machine sewn cockade made of « BeVo » material and backed in blue. Eagle is also made in « BeVo » and is a golden-yellow color with a dark blue backing and properly hand applied. Interior is a nice jet black colored linen that shows evidence of the Paris maker and sized in a « 59 ». Cap retains an original French produced example of a « 1ST FLOTILLA / 1. UNTERSEEBOOTSFLOTILLE » badge located in Brest. Proper pin assembly and minute flaws in the enamel with some wear and scuffs visible in the correct angle of light. A very collectible and difficult to locate set.
