Large NSDAP wooden wall eagle, « Clervaux - Luxembourg »
Description
Stunning and rare large NSDAP wooden wall eagle. This piece comes from the Kommandantur of Clervaux in Luxembourg. Luxembourg was officially annexed by Germany in August 1942. Multipiece wooden construction, very nice details in the carving, its original metal wall bracket is present on the back, it is also ink stamped on the reverse with the « RZM » marking. The eagle is in its original state, never cleaned or waxed. Dimensions: 80x55cm. A superb decorative piece.
