Late-war German Heer / Waffen-SS M40 Combat Helmet, « Q64 »
Description
A superb M1940 Heer / Waffen-SS combat helmet. The helmet is a late-war « Q64 » with the lot number « DN?10 », both marked along the back center skirt. The helmets exterior retains over 95% of the late-war dark blue paint. It has some handling marks to include slight abrasions scattered around the exterior. All split pins present and tightly secured. The helmets interior is in excellent condition, it has a really nice light tan leather liner, ink stamped along the tip of the leather tongue with the size « 56 ». Soldier’s initials and unit present on the liner « HW I. Zug ». Really nice late-war example in excellent condition.
