A superb late-war German issued turtle-neck sweater. A rather scare example of a period manufactured feldgrau wool blend. The sweater features the desirable turtle neck that is commonly seen being worn by frontline troops. The sweater is in excellent condition. The size tag is sewn in the collar 2. Most of these were used up rather quickly following the wars end. A scarcer and more desirable example that would display nicely under a combat tunic or camouflage smock.
