Late-war German MG34/42 scope carrier case & strap
Description
A beautiful late-war factory produced scope case for the MG34/42. The case is made from sheet steel and nicely painted in a tan coat. Proper weapons scope designation along the top is still present in black paint, « M.G.Z.40 ». The metal closure catch is fully functional and still retains its factory applied short web pull tab. The case retains its difficult and desirable specialty carrier strap in web material with two heavier duty clips on each end. The boxes interior is present, including the small cleaning brush and the cleaning pad. Top securing straps are present. The carrier case retains both the original back heavy attachment support straps. The scope case is marked with the Waffenamt. A excellent set of a very rare and desirable MG accessory.
