A textbook late-war example of a German paratrooper gas mask carrying bag. Constructed from a thinner rayon material in dark feldgrau color. The snaps are marked « PRYM 6 », the fully functional zipper is marked « ZIPP ». The bag body and interior is complete but missing the main carry and belt carry strap. Maker marked in ink with the maker in yellow ink along the interior flap « ebd » and waffenamt. Interior rubber plug is complete and intact. The gas mask bag was recovered along with another 6 pocket pouch out of a farmhouse in the Hallein Region near Salzburg within the last few years. A harder to find Fallschirmjager piece of equipment and worthy of restoration.
