Late-war German tan mMG4/42 ammunition case, « unit marked »
Description
Late-war factory produced example of a MG34/42 ammunition case in tan. Manufactured from a sturdy pressed and formed stamped sheet metal. The ammo case is stamped with the three letter maker code « bzl » along the classic position under the handle area. It retains over 85% of its tan factory finish. The can is also unit etched with the Roman numeral « III ». Interior still retains the rubber seal along the top. A very nice and desirable item amongst field gear and weapons collectors.
