A late-war pair of German special issue « PANZER » low-ankle combat boots. This rare and seldom seen pair of low boots is specially made for issue to armored crew/panzer service men. Constructed late-war from a standard blackened leather and retaining known features to include heavy stitching and metal lace eyelets. Exterior upper is marked with the size « 28 1/2 » and dated « 44 ». Interior is typical with off-white « HBT » lining. The special all rubber construction soles are complete and show some use. Thin wooden pegs retaining the soles intact. The set comes with a pair of original black laces. One if not the hardest sets of low-boots to find in any condition.
