Description

A nice M38 German paratrooper « Fallschirmjäger » helmet, late-war construction. The helmet is a « ckl68 » with an unreadable lot number, it retains over 90% of the green factory paint. Aluminum slotted bolts complete. The liner is in overall very good shape and still supple. It is properly stamped with sizes and maker. The soldier’s name is present on the leather. The straps are complete and in good worn condition,  fragilized on one side (see photos), snap marked « PRYM4 ». The helmet looks to have been put together, one small pad is new (see photos), still a nice example of a late-war paratrooper helmet.
