Description

A late-war M1940 Heer no decal combat helmet issued to a doctor. Helmet is a « Q66 » with a lot number of « T1344 ». Helmet's exterior is in very nice condition. Retains well over 98% of its factory dark feldgrau paint. Minimal scuffs and scrapes are present. The helmet never had any decals added. Split pins are complete, retain their finish and still tightly attached to the helmet. The helmet's interior is complete and in untouched / undisturbed condition. Leather liner is complete, supple condition and retains its period drawstring. Ink stamped for size along one of the tongues « 58 ». Chinstrap is complete and in full length.  It is named in white paint to the former owner « Stabsarzt Dr. Lang 07832 A », once on the wearer's right side and once in pencil along the back skirt. The feldpost is either from a « Jagdgeschwader Staffel » or a Paris based Wach-Regiment. Overall a very rare and very difficult to find real doctor's helmet.
