Luftwaffe issue flare cartridge storage bag. Late-war variant that is constructed from heavier weight, light colored tan cotton material. Factory made storage bag to retain four wax paper flare storage containers. Retains its heavy duty large tooth zipper for cold weather access and made by the firm « RK », fully functional with no oxidation along a few teeth. Zipper in closed position has two pull tabs in natural brown leather with large retaining rings, pull tab also has a large circular pull right for easier access with the use of gloves. Opposite side has an excess running of the zipper reinforced with the same natural brown leather for handling. Pouch is very nicely and clearly stamped « BAUMUSTER 3122 / L38054 » with the Luftwaffe acceptance stamp to the right, similar stamps have been seen on other various gear to include parachutes and harnesses. A rare piece of equipment that has remained elusive amongst German fieldgear and Luftwaffe collectors.
