A period factory produced tropical Luftwaffe issued combat belt buckle, rare variant. Steel construction and factory painted in a tan color. Features the rare tan web tab. Factory stitching is in white thread is tightly attached. Outlined in the classic tan thread to prevent fraying. Maker marked and dated « GB-42 » for « Gustav Brehmer ». The buckle is in nice worn condition with over 70% of its finish but has been denazified. A very rare variant.
