A very nice M16 German combat helmet with battle damage. Exterior retains its factory dark-blue issue paint. Shrapnel damage from the rear causing a vertical opening. Interior retains partial liner with possible blood damage. Nicely named along the back skirt. Most likely a veteran acquired war trophy. Excellent helmet overall and scarce in today’s collectors market.
