M16 German Heer transitional combat helmet, « woodwork / untouched »

Description
A nice untouched example of a M16 transitional combat helmet. This helmet was recently found in the east of France during a house clearance and has never been in collection before, it remained in its untouched state. Exterior and interior retain the standard factory applied matte feldgrau paint. The helmet's interior is untouched and as found. Plenty of dust and debris around the rim. Leather liner is in overall excellent condition. Chinstrap is the original one to the helmet and has remained in place. Original drawstring present as well. Those untouched / uncleaned helmets are getting very hard to find.
