M33 SS dagger, « RZM M7/80 1197/39 SS »
Description
Superb German M33 SS dagger produced by the manufacturer « Gustav C. Spitzer ». It is complete with its original vertical hanger. Black ebony grip, decorated with the eagle and the SS enameled insignia. The blade is in perfect condition, the motto « Meine Ehre Heisst Treue » is engraved on one side. The other side is marked with the manufacturer « RZM M7/80 1197/39 SS » corresponding to Gustav C. Spitzer. The scabbard retains almost all of its original black paint. The dagger comes with its vertical black leather hanger and its belt loop. A superb dagger in excellent overall condition, never disassembled. This dagger is part of a small grouping found in Malmedy in the 1970s. Malmedy is a Belgian city annexed to Germany in 1940.
