Description
M1935 German double decal police camouflage combat helmet. Helmet is an « SE66 » with lot number « 2967 ». The helmet exterior has a nice brush applied camouflage finish in a blue-grey color. The original factory applied green finish can be seen coming through in several areas of wear. The wear overall is minimal with the camouflage finish rating in at almost 85%. It is painted nicely around the two decals. Police borderless decal rates in at around 85% showing normal scuffs and scraps. The nation shield is at 90%. The helmets interior is undisturbed condition. Only missing its drawstring. The liner is still supple but shows some evidence of wear. Retains its original chinstrap that was not be touched. A set of initials are carved into the paint above the shell size « OvdH ». A really nice and fairly uncommon encountered helmet.
