M35 German Heer textured camouflage combat helmet
Description
A very nice reissued M1935 Heer German combat helmet that has been camouflaged in a textured feldgrau finish. The helmet is a « NS64 » with an unreadable lot number. The helmet's exterior featured a rather thick applied textured feldgrau grey paint. It covers the entire surface of the helmet and rates at 95%. Normal to light amounts of scuffs and scraps. Proper rim wear is present. Split pins are intact and retain the vast majority of the same textured finish. They are secured to the helmet. The helmet's interior is untouched and retains its original liner system. The leather liner is in good and supple condition and retains a light brown color. Drawstring and chinstrap are absent. Oxidation is present around the interior. The helmet is named to the former owner in white paint along the back skirt but has been covered with the camouflage paint. The soldier initials are present on the liner « KHI ». A very nice example with a great combat look.
