Stunning and very rare M1935 Heer double decal geometric three-tone camouflage combat helmet. The helmet is a « ET64 » with the lot number « 3215 ». The helmet's exterior features a desirable hand brush painted geometric camouflage scheme in the three-tone colors. Nice combat used and wear present. This includes some scuffs, scraps and chips to the paint that is covering well over 90% of the surface. In the detailed photos below the brush strokes are clearly visible. The Heer and tricolor decals have nicely been painted around, rates over 85% and exhibits nice toning and crazing. Split pins intact and secured to the helmet while retaining also part of their camouflage finish. The helmet's interior is in overall very good condition and retains its original liner system with first type aluminum liner band. The leather liner is in excellent condition, supple and retains a light brown color. Original drawstring and leather liner are present, this one is nicely maker marked and dated « GUSTAV REINHARDT BERLIN 1937 ». The liner size « 64 » is ink stamped on the back skirt. A name tag and another paper are coming with the helmet. One of the harder and more desirable camouflage finishes to find on a combat helmet. Excellent early example.
