M35 Heer single decal reissue combat helmet, « SE62 »
Description
A stunning M1935 Heer single decal reissue combat helmet. The helmet is a « SE62 » with a lot number of « 3551 ». The helmet's choice exterior condition retains a classic matte feldgrau grey finish. The paint rates in over 99% with minor storage rates and handling marks. Split pins are completely and tightly attached. Heer decal rates in over 99% with minor abrasions and slight wear along the center. The decal is nicely painted around with brush strokes visible. The national tri-color decal is present underneath the paint. Interior of the helmet is untouched and complete. Liner is in excellent condition. Drawstring is present and dome stamp is visible. Chinstrap is complete, maker marked and dated but barely readable. Liner is named and feldpost marked « 26226 ». Overall a superb high condition and desirable German combat helmet.
