Description

A superb M1935 Luftwaffe sand textured two-tone camouflage combat helmet, « ex-baling wire ». The helmet’s maker marking is not visible, the lot number is « 3714 ». The helmet has an excellent application of green and red brick paint with the addition of fine sand mixed in and with the former area of the bailing wire visible. Scuffs, scrapes and actual combat wear are present nicely throughout the helmet's entire surface. Luftwaffe decal can be seen under the paint coming through. Split pins intact and untouched. Helmet's interior is untouched and complete. Leather liner is in really nice worn condition. Light brown in color, drawstring present and ink stamped for size « 57 » along the tip of the leather tongue. Original early leather chinstrap is present and is period shortened. Overall a excellent and highly desirable Luftwaffe camouflage combat helmet. Choice!
