Description

A very nice M1935 Luftwaffe two-tones spray camouflage combat helmet. The helmet is an « ET66 » with a lot number of « 4770 ». Before receiving the camouflage finish, it was reissued with a new liner band and repainted with a matte paint applied with a brush as can be seen on the inside of the helmet. The helmet's exterior features a vivid and contrasting two-tone tan and green spray applied camouflage colors. A light amount of wear is present but overall in excellent condition. Semi-matte to the touch and over 96% still present. The split pins remain intact and tightly secure with part of their camouflage finish in place. The Luftwaffe decal is beautifully ghosting just under the paint with a nice shadow. The interior is complete, the leather liner is in nice worn condition, it retains its original drawstring and leather chinstrap, this one is maker marked and dated « 1940 ». The back skirt is nicely white painted with the soldiers name. Overall a really nice and very attractive Luftwaffe camouflage combat helmet.
