An early M36 German Heer Signals NCO « Der Spiess » combat tunic. Tunic is a true factory early M36 made example. Very good quality wool and complete with early maker marked interior featuring the name and location « OSCAR BAUMGART K.G. / Osnabruck » in Northwest Germany. The tunic was issued and later completed with 1939 specifications. Period factory machine zig-zag stitched « BeVo » early vintage dark green eagle and choice « BeVo » collars. After the NCO's promotion or upon it - machine straight stitched NCO pipping added and « Der Spiess » ranks on both arms at the same time. Signals device period machine sewn on the lower right arm. Hand sewn EKII ribbon is also present. Interior is stamped « M39 » with the size markings clearly readable. Shoulder straps are the early type and pipped for a « Oberfeldwebel ». Shoulder straps are an earlier type with the dark sky felt material underlay. Featuring nice yellow rayon pipping. Nice aluminum pips and in general great light wear. Tunic was never worn and probably kept for a special event or occasion. A rare and desirable early German « Der Spiess » tunic that is never offered on the market in such condition. Unique.
