M37 US Navy WWII issued fatigue sun cap. Commonly referred to as « DAISY MAE ». Full brim cap constructed from a lightweight blue denim jean cotton material. Very strong blue color in almost unworn condition. Cap is textbook constructed with no holes, rips, or tears. Only markings present are two serial numbers period applied in ink, one is illegible « G- 1776 ». These caps are hard to find and extremely popular with collectors and vintage cloth enthusiasts.
