Description
A stellar M1938 German paratrooper « Fallschirmjäger » combat helmet. Early-war construction. The helmet is an « ET68 » with a lot number of « 1421 ». The helmet's exterior is in choice condition. Slightest of wear to the factory paint finish. Minor scuffs and storage wear from handling. The Luftwaffe decal is at 99% with nice age and toning. Mid-war spanner bolts are complete and untouched. The helmet's interior matches the exterior. Complete with an excellent rarely encountered leather liner maker. Nicely stamped with the classic information of size and location. Stitching is complete. Chinstraps are fully present and in excellent shape with early hardware intact, snap is marked « PRYM4 ». A choice and extremely desirable German paratrooper combat helmet!
