M40 Heer single decal combat helmet, « ET62 »
Description
A nice M1940 Heer single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « ET62 » with a lot number of « 1269 ». The helmets exterior features a nice feldgrau green factory applied paint finish. A normal amount of scuffs and scrapes are present. Proper to light paint loss around the rim. Decal rates in at around 95%. Split pins are complete, tightly attached and retain part of their finish. Interior remains untouched and in as-found condition. Nice brown colored liner that is complete with drawstring and ink stamped with the size « 55 ». The helmet comes with a complete and full length early leather chinstrap, nicely maker marked and dated « CARL TESCH BERLIN 1937 ». Overall a nice untouched and very desirable Heer combat helmet !
