M40 Heer tailored combat tunic, « PANZER »
Description
A period German regulation M1940 combat tunic tailor for an officer in the Panzer. The tunic is made from a good quality wool. It has been period modified with the special addition of a pointed dark forest green collar and has slightly been shortened. It is in nice slightly worn condition. The tunic retains a set of period machine straight stitched applied Panzer officer collar tabs. Breast eagle is a flat-wire example and is period machine stitched. Shoulder boards are missing but could easily be found. The tunic's interior is complete and lined in a light grey cotton material. Nicely ink stamped with he sizes, the date « H41 » and the maker’s details. Nice tunic with a great combat look.
