A very nice M1940 Heer three-tone « NORMANDY » spray camouflage former bailing wire helmet. The helmet is an « EF62 » with the lot number « 11?33 ». The helmet's exterior retains attractive spray camouflage paint with the former area of the bailing wire visible. Scuffs, scrapes and actual combat wear are present nicely throughout the helmet's entire surface. The helmet's interior is untouched and uncleaned. Well lived in yet complete liner. Leather is used with some light fraying. Drawstring and chinstrap are present, maker marked and dated « 1941 ». A really nice camouflage helmet with a great combat look.
