Superb M40 Heer tropical officers field cap. Factory produced model with officers pipping. Constructed by well known firm « Karl Kubach ». Olive green colored ribbed cotton material in excellent shape. Showing minimal use throughout. The original « BeVo » tropical eagle and cockade are nicely factory machine and hand applied. Air vents retain all their chocolate brown enamel. Interior is in the same condition as the exterior. Some minor flacking around the sweatband in some areas. The lining is very nicely ink stamped with the size « 56 », the date « 42 » and the maker’s details. Choice example of an officers field cap.
