Description
A superb M1940 Heer two-tone spray camouflage combat helmet. The helmet is a « ET62 » with a lot number of « 1051 ». The helmet's exterior shows a subtle two-tone green and brick red spray applied camouflage finish. The colors remain vibrant and contrasting in a semi-matte finish. Decal is present and visible under the camouflage finish. Overall the camouflage finish rates in at over 95% and barely used. A small amount of wear around the rim and several small scuffs/scrapes are present. Split pins intact, tightly attached and retaining their camouflage finish. The helmet's interior matches the exterior. It remains also in excellent condition and complete. Liner is pliable and barely used. Complete with drawstring and ink stamped for size « 55 ». Pigskin leather chinstrap is in excellent condition, complete with the full maker's name and year of productions stamped along the tip « Wilhelm Eilers Bielefeld 1941 ».
