M40 Kriegsmarine single decal combat helmet, « EF64 »
Description
A very nice and rare M1940 Kriegsmarine single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « EF64 » with lot number « 100131 ». Exterior retains a semi rough dark feldgrau factory finish. Little to light wear on the helmet's exterior. A true Kriegsmarine eagle is present and rates in over 90%. The helmet's interior is in excellent and complete condition. Leather is supple and retains a nice tan color ink stamped with the size « 56 ». Soldier's name written on the leather. Original drawstring present. The original leather chinstrap is complete and in supple condition, nicely maker marked « Heinrich Sohn K, Neu-Ulm 1941 ». A rather rare and desirable combat helmet of the Kriegsmarine.
