Description
A superb and unique M1940 Luftwaffe two-tone spray ex-netted camouflage combat helmet. The helmet is a « Q66 » with a lot number of « 124 ». The helmet's exterior is in excellent condition and with well over 97% of the camouflage paint remaining. The helmet's interior matches the condition of the exterior. Overall in excellent condition worn condition. Leather liner shows some minor flaking around the rim. Drawstring is present but has been replaced. Retains its original chinstrap, nicely maker marked « O. Reichel Lengfeld ». Soldier’s rank and name are nicely white painted on the back skirt « O’Gefr. Pohl ». A unique spray camouflage combat helmet.
