Description
A standard M1940 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet. The helmet is a « Q66 » with a lot number of « DN260 ». The helmet's exterior retains well over 98% of the factory matte feldgrau blue spray finish. Helmet has only a few scuff marks. Split pins are intact, have a smooth finish and retain full color. The Luftwaffe decal factory applied in haste. Two areas of fold over can be seen giving this a rather cool appearance. Rates in at over 95%. Interior is complete and remains unissued. Leather liner retains its crisp color. A few areas of mice bites to test the German quality. Ink stamped for size « 58 ». Drawstring in place. Full complete and in mint condition chinstraps, marked with a RBNr. Overall a really nice one look M40 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet.
