M42 Heer enlisted mans overseas cap
Description
An excellent condition mid-war period Heer M42 overseas cap for enlisted man. Feldgrau wool construction showing minimal use with no holes or condition issues. Cap features factory applied insignia. Eagle from « BeVo » is nicely machine stitched and hand finished. Cockade is period hand applied and insignia set is made to look like a classic « T » version but in two separate pieces. Lining is gray cotton material. The cap is nicely makers marked, dated « 1942 » and size marked « 59 » (but sized 54). A harder to find variation.
