M42 Heer single decal combat helmet, named, « NS64 »
Description
Superb M1942 Heer single decal German combat helmet. The helmet is a « NS64 » with a lot number « D223 ». The helmet’s exterior features a factory mint feldgrau semi-rough paint application. Split pins are perfect and fully intact. Heer decal is over 99% with application and nice fold over along the top corner. Interior of the helmet is in choice unissued shape aside from only the former owners name present on the leather liner « Kan. Künzel Karl ». Crisp size stamp « 56 » present on the liner, drawstring intact and pigskin leather chinstrap is full length and complete, nicely maker marled and dated « H. Eger & Linde Seligenthal/TH 1941 ». Domstamp is also present. Overall an unissued combat helmet for the most discerning collector choice.
