A gruesome reminder of the horrors of war. A standard issue M1942 Heer single decal combat helmet in untouched condition. Shell is partially complete, suffering a blow along the front with exit wounds through the back. Heer decal rates in over 90% with a nice untouched look. Interior is marked with the maker and lot « ET64 / 1606 ». Helmet is void of everything with only the shell remaining. Although a common site at the time these helmets are today rare to find in undug condition. Souvenir piece.
