Description

Nice M1942 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « ET66 » with a lot number of « 1623 ». The helmet's exterior is in overall good condition. Factory applied paint finish in a matte blue-grey color is over 90% present. A normal amount of small scuffs and scrapes are present. Luftwaffe decal rates in well over 90%. Interior matches the helmet's exterior. Complete and also in very good overall condition. Pig skin leather liner is present and retains the original tan color, ink stamped with the size « 59 ». The original drawstring is in place and the original unmarked leather chinstrap is supple. A very nice used Luftwaffe combat helmet that was recovered in the Belgian Ardennes.
