M42 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet, « NS66 »
Description
A classic M1942 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet. The helmet is a late skirt marked « NS66 » with a lot number of « D345 ». The helmet's exterior shows some light use to include minor scuffs and scrapes. Still retains a nice uncleaned appearance. Split pins are intact, tightly attached and retains some of their original factory finish. The Luftwaffe decal is present and rates in at roughly 85%. Complete and untouched interior. Showing some light wear present on the nice brown leather liner. Drawstring intact and the liner is ink stamped with the size on « 59 ». Full complete leather chinstrap present and maker marked. Rare to see on a Luftwaffe helmet is the acceptance stamp on the dome of the helmet. Overall a very attractive large size Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet.
