Description

A classic M1942 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « ET68 » with a lot number of « 1830 ». The helmet's exterior features a classic right factory darker blue painted finish covering over 98% of the helmet. Minor noticeable scuffs, scrapes and paint loss is present. The split pins are all intact and tightly secured to the helmet while retaining all their finish. The Luftwaffe decal rates in over 88% with some minor flaking. The interior of the helmet has seen better days. Due to improper storage the liner is partially present as seen in the photos below. A partial chinstrap is also present yet remains in untouched and as-found condition. Named along the liner to the former owner. An overall nice representative example of a large size Luftwaffe combat helmet.
