Description

A very nice M1942 Luftwaffe single decal combat helmet. The helmet is an « NS64 » with a lot number of « D230 ». The helmet's exterior is in excellent condition. Factory applied paint finish in a matte blue-grey color is over 95% present. A normal amount of small scuffs and scrapes are present. Luftwaffe decal rates in well over 90%. Interior matches the helmet's exterior. Complete and also in excellent overall condition. Leather liner is present and retains the original tan color, ink stamped with the size « 57 ». The drawstring is not the original one. Nice leather chinstrap maker marked and dated « ftb44 ». Overall an excellent issued and lightly used Luftwaffe combat helmet.
