Description
Superb M1942 Luftwaffe three tone « Normandy » camouflage helmet. It is a « ckl62 » with lot number « 2759 ». The helmet retains well over 97% of its original spray applied camouflage finish and in excellent contrasting colors with an untouched matte look. The Luftwaffe decal is beautifully ghosting just under the paint. Interior is in overall excellent condition. The pig skin leather is supple, ink stamped with size « 55 » and retains its original drawstring. The original leather chinstrap is present, maker marked and dated « 1943 ». Fantastic top-shelf camouflage helmet!
